About the Author: |
I have an MSEE, and CISSP certification.
I began programming BASIC back in the early '80's on an
Apple IIe. After dropping it for a while, I picked up
Java programming in order to create an SNMP polling
application for my master's thesis. From there, I
moved into Perl on Win32 programming from a security
perspective. I am the developer of a model for
security tools written by engineers in the company
I work for, as well as the author of NTCAT, a tool
that we use to perform internal vulnerability assessments on NT systems.
We also have tools that support Un*x, VMS, Novell, and Cisco...all based on the same
model.
