    Hello,
I'm trying to use the AdminMisc and received a windows message when my script fired:
"This application has failed to start because MSVCR70.dll was not found."

I've seen one similar post on the net, but that gentleman found that he did not have the most recent ActiveState build. I do, or close enough anyway, 818. He reinstalled Perl, but then didn't do a follow-up post.

I'm running on Windows Server 2003. Active State Perl 5.8. The AdminMisc was just downloaded today (6/18/2006) from your site. I am running the script as admin (though the point of the script is to use logonAsUser to allow certain things as another user so that they don't have to be given Admin user/pass.)

Anyone have any ideas how to work with this?

    Thank you for your time!

    Hello,
    I'll answer my own question.

MSVCR70.dll is related to the Microsoft runtime library. It can be downloaded:

    http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/pop.php?msvcr70

That didn't fix all of my problems, but it did fix that problem.

Thank you anyway. I appreciate the packages your groop has put out.

    Have a great day.
